Two fires at Tinsley flat in one day
FIREFIGHTERS were called to two blazes at the same address in one day.
Crews from Parkway, Rotherham and Birley attended the flat fire in Highgate, Tinsley, at 9.40am on Saturday and left the scene at 11am.
But three crews were called back again at 5pm to a second deliberate fire in the downstairs communal kitchen.
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said officers used hose reels to tackle the blaze and no-one was injured.
