Two deliberate fires overnight

FIREFIGHTERS tackled two deliberate fires last night.

At 8.11pm one crew from Maltby station attended Bawtry Road, Wickersley, where a hedge was on fire. Staff left around 15 minutes later.

At 9.22pm a Dearne station crew attended Biscay Way in Wath-upon-Dearne, where rubbish was on fire. Staff left the scene around five minutes later.
