Two cars destroyed by arsonists
A FORD Focus was destroyed in a fire in Herringthorpe yesterday (Sunday).
Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to Longfellow Drive at 1.05am and tackled the blaze for around 25 minutes, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
The fire was started deliberately, she added.
Arsonists destroyed another car in Thurcroft in the early hours of Saturday.
Firefighters from Maltby station were called to South Street at 3.20am and tackled the fire for 35 minutes.
