Two arrests after Rawmarsh man attacked and seriously injured in his home
A MAN suffered “life-changing” injuries in an early-hours attack at his home yesterday morning, police said.
Two men are reported to have broken a window to get into a property in Ingshead Avenue, Rawmarsh, at 1.10am and attacked the householder, demanding money.
A police spokesperson said a 48-year-old man had been taken to hospital with serious injuries, that were thought to be life-changing.
They said a 35-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, while a second man, also aged 35 had been arrested for the same offence and criminal damage to a vehicle.
