Two arrested in Eastwood for alleged gun possession
TWO men were arrested in Eastwood overnight on suspicion of a possession of a gun.
Police said a 28-year-old man and 30-year-old man had been arrested on Wednesday night on suspicion of possession of a firearm, contrary to Section 1 of the Firearms Act 1968.
"Firearms officers attended an address on Selwyn Street, where a warrant was executed," added a police spokeswoman.
"The men are currently in police custody while enquiries continue."
