TRIBUTES have been paid to a "beautiful and loving wife and mother" who was killed in a collision near Maltby on Wednesday.
Lindsey Burton (34) was driving a Mercedes C Class along the A631, Tickhill Road towards Maltby at 3.40pm when it was in a collision with a Scania LGV. The LGV then left the carriageway after colliding with a silver Citreon Picasso.
Mrs Burton, of Tickhill, was airlifted to hospital where she died as a result of her injuries the following day.
In a statement, her family described her as a "beautiful and loving wife and mother" and asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.
Police are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact them. Call 101 quoting incident number 516 of 12 June.
