Trial date set for two men accused of murdering Rawmarsh man

Gareth Leech (28) and Kyle Martin (22) will stand trial at Sheffield Crown Court on March 21 accused of the murder of 45-year-old Dean Williamson.

Leech, of Brameld Road, Swinton, and Martin, of Selwyn Street, Eastwood, appeared at court today (Tuesday) by videolink and were remanded in custody.

The defendants, who have not yet entered pleas, are next due to appear at court on January 14.

Mr Williamson was found with serious injuries on William Street, Parkgate, at 1.10pm last Tuesday and was taken to hospital where he died three hours later.
