TRAVEL: Emergency roadworks on M1 northbound

THREE lanes have been closed on the M1 northbound between junction 32 (M18) and junction 33 (Tinsley) to allow for emergency roadworks.

Highways England has advised motorists to allow extra time for their journey.

Traffic can pass in lane four while a specialist crew carries out the work.

Highways England said there are almost five miles of queues on the approach.
