Tram Train services still suspended

TRAM Train services are still suspended this morning (Friday) - but all other Supertram routes are operating as normal.

A spokesperson for Stagecoach Supertram said: "We are still unable to operate Tram Train services until Network Rail have carried out further electrical checks. As soon as we have any further information we’ll provide an update here. Apologies for the ongoing disruption to journeys on this route.

"Although Tram Train services remain suspended, all other routes are now operating as normal and in full. We’ll have further updates regarding Tram Train in due course, once Network Rail give us clearance to resume the service."

Trains into Rotherham Central began operating as normal this morning.
