Tram Train service to Rotherham and Parkgate suspended due to 'infrastructure issue'
THE Tram Train service to Rotherham Central and Parkgate has been suspended until further notice due to a problem on Network Rail.
Stagecoach Supertram said in a statement this morning: "Due to an infrastructure issue on Network Rail, Tram Train services are currently suspended as we are unable to enter the railway."
There was currently "no timescale" as to when the service would be back up and runnning but passengers were advised to keep an eye on Stagecoach Supertram's social media channels for updates.
Tram tickets are being accepted on Stagecoach buses in Rotherham and on Northern train services between Rotherham and Sheffield.
