Tram Train service resumes on reduced timetable after vehicle fault disruption

THE Tram Train has resumed on a reduced timetable after a fault with one of the vehicles ground the service to a halt.

Tram Trains will depart from Cathedral in Sheffield to Parkgate at 27 and 01 minutes past the hour and from Parkgate at 31 and 59 minutes past the hour.

The service was halted after an issue was detected by the vehicle manufacturer on one Tram Train last night (Tuesday).

The issue meant that further exploration of potential impact on other Citylink vehicles was required.

A spokesman for Supertram apologised for the disruption caused.

Stagecoach Supertram has been asked when a full service will resume.
