TRAINS: Delays between Rotherham and Meadowhall plus flooding at Kiveton Park
TRAINS between Rotherham and Meadowhall have been disrupted after a car hit a level crossing barrier and flooding has blocked the lines at Kiveton Park.
Northern Rail said a vehicle had hit a level crossing barrier and trains were running at reduced speeds on all lines between Rotherham Central and Meadowhall.
They said services were returning to normal but disruption was expected until 2pm.
Northern Rail said due to heavy flooding on the railway there were currently no services running through Kiveton Park because all lines were blocked.
