Train services resume at Rotherham Central — but Tram Train still cancelled

TRAINS are running through Rotherham Central again after floodwater was cleared from the tracks.

The railway station was closed on Sunday and Monday after succumbing to flooding for the second time in four months.

Northern Rail announced on Twitter yesterday (Monday) that services were no longer affected by the floods.

Tram Train services are still suspended. Yellow trams are not operating beyond Tinsley and Meadowhall Interchange.
