Normandale will be suspended for eight weeks following a disciplinary hearing after he kicked an opposition player in the head in last Saturday's defeat against Ealing and was subsequently red-carded.

The former Cardiff Blues man will now miss the rest of the season as Rotherham look to avoid bottom spot in the Championship - and he could have played his last game for the club if he isn't offered a new contract.

Normandale kicked former Titan Luke Carter in the head when he attempted a clearance during the 51-12 home battering against Ealing. It is understood that he was initially banned for 16 weeks but that was halved after mitigating circumstances plus an apology was issued by the player.
