A TINSLEY man is one of two people charged in connection with the murder of a 22-year-old man in Sheffield.

A TINSLEY man is one of two people who have been charged in connection with the murder of a 22-year-old man in Sheffield.

Layton Morris (22), of Ferrars Road, has been charged with assisting an offender following the stabbing of Fahim Hersi (22).

Mr Hersi died after he was stabbed in the chest on Friday, September 21, last year outside the cinema at Valley Centertainment, Sheffield, a police spokeswoman said.

Morris was charged on Friday and released on bail.

Noel Ramsey-Divers (22), of Nottingham Street, Sheffield, has been charged with murder and remanded in custody.

Both men will appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Tuesday), the spokeswoman said.

A 22-year-old man previously arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault has been released from the investigation with no further action to be taken.

One woman and three other men - one aged 19 and two aged 20 - who had been arrested on suspicion of murder, have all previously been released without charge.
