Time to nominate your Rotherham healthcare heroes

PATIENTS are being asked to nominate their healthcare heroes for an award.

This year’s Proud Awards, hosted by The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, will celebrate excellence in the borough’s healthcare sector.

Last year, 460 nominations were received for the awards and the hospital trust is again inviting patients and members of the public to nominate worthy candidates for the Public Recognition Award.

Eligible staff include those who work at Rotherham Hospital, Rotherham Community Health Centre, Breathing Space, the Park Rehabilitation Centre and health centres across the town, as wll as those working in people’s own homes and communities such as school and district nurses.

Nominations should be made by Friday, August 16.
