Time to get your hands dirty!

CONSERVATION volunteers can get their hands dirty to help nature this week (April 9).

Blackburn Meadows nature reserve on Steel Street in Masbrough, which is run by the Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust, is hosting a volunteer work day on April 9 from 10am to 3pm.

The work can include tasks such as footpath improvement and habitat management and gloves, tools and refreshments are provided.
