EYES will be turned on the skies at a star-gazing event this weekend.
Clifton Park is holding an evening of astronomy on Saturday, February 18, with specialist telescopes available.
The free event is being jointly organised by the Friends of Clifton Park and the Mexborough and Swinton Astronomical Society.
The event will be held in the walled garden from 6pm and will finish at about 8.30pm.
Activities will include the chance to use the society’s high-powered telescopes and a presentation held by the society in the multi-function room.
Visitors are also encouraged to bring their own telescopes and the society will be happy to give advice on how to use them.
