Thurcroft pensioner put on sex offenders' register
A PENSIONER who downloaded indecent images of children has been put on the sex offenders' register for five years.
Kevin Mangham (67), of Peter Street, Thurcroft, was sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court last Tuesday for making indecent photographs of children, possession of extreme pornographic images and possession of prohibited images of children.
He had previously denied the offences but pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing at the crown court.
Mangham was given a two-year community order involving 100 hours of unpaid work and 30 days of rehabilitation activity requirement.
He was also given a five-year sexual harm prevention order.
