Thrybergh councillors: "Don't call us with Rotherham Council complaints"
A PARISH council was surprised after being listed in the phonebook as Rotherham Borough Council.
Local members in Thrybergh were shocked to see their base on Park Lane (above) listed under RMBC in BT’s book.
The village has a population of about 4,000 people — making up 1.5 per cent of the population serviced by RMBC.

Hide AdA parish council spokesman said: “It’s a good job the number they listed was a dead one, we might have been swamped with calls.”
Thrybergh Parish Council’s correct contact number is 07833 392976 and the Parish Hall is available for hire for all types of functions including wedding receptions and birthday parties.
The phonebook also incorrectly listed RMBC’s Riverside House entry as Rotherham City Council.
