Three vehicles torched in Dearne Valley arson attacks

A VEHICLE set alight in an arson attack in Thurnscoe last night was among three torched in as many days.

Firefighters from Dearne station were called to the deliberate fire on Lidget Lane at 10pm, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

They left the scene at 11.05pm.

Firefighters from Dearne were called to a deliberate vehicle fire on Springfield in Bolton-on-Dearne at 10.20pm on Monday and left the scene at 10.45pm, the spokesperson added.

A crew from Dearne station was called to another deliberate vehicle fire on Hoober Street, West Melton, at 2.30am on Sunday and spent half an hour at the scene, the spokesperson said.
