Three slashed in Denaby armed robbery

A MAN was slashed in the face with a knife in an armed robbery in Denaby on Sunday.

The 20-year-old was robbed of a gold chain at a house on Lime Tree Walk at 7.50pm on September 10, when two men entered and attacked him.

The intruders fled with the chain and the man suffered cuts to his face and arm.

A 39-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man also suffered cuts when they tried to intervene.

Police urge anyone with information to call on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111, quoting incident 897 of September 10.
