Three people taken to hospital after house fire

THREE people were taken to hospital after a house fire in Kimberworth on Saturday morning.

They were treated for the effects of breathing smoke after the accidental blaze at a Pitt Street property.

Firefighters from Rotherham and Elm Street stations attended at 10.30am and were at the scene until noon.

Crews also dealt with a deliberate rubbish fire on Railway Terrace in Goldthorpe at 8pm on Sunday.
