Mr Dix was left critically injured in the assault and died a week later.

Beech, Green and Playforth are on trial at Sheffield Crown Court, where they all deny manslaughter.

Green and Playforth have admitted affray in connection with the death, along with Corey Andrews (25), of Tickhill Road, Maltby, Sam Anscombe (29), of Walesby Lane, Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, Brady Stoner (24), of Nelson Road, Maltby, and Josh Simpson (25), of Everson Close, Maltby.

They are all due to be sentenced for affray at the end of the trial.

Beech has pleaded not guilty to the same charge of affray.
