Three men arrested after Brampton Bierlow crash

THREE men have been released under investigation after a car smash in Brampton Bierlow.

An uninsured black Audi A3 failed to stop for police at 9pm on Monday and the vehicle crashed on Knollbeck Lane, at the Dearne Road junction.

Three men, aged 22, 23 and 24, were rescued by firefighters and arrested by police.

A force spokeswoman said: “They have now been released under investigation.”

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage of the vehicle before or during the crash.
