THREE people were due to appear in court today (Friday) charged with burglary, theft and fraud offences.
Two men and a woman were due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates' Court this morning charged with a number of offences, including burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.
Martin James Hoyland (46), and Sara Elizabeth Layton (37), both of Reynolds Close, Rotherham, and Barry John Crosby (38), of Flanderwell Lane, Rotherham, are each charged with burglary, two counts of fraud, theft of a motor vehicle and attempted theft of a motor vehicle.
The charges relate to incidents early yesterday morning when a house in the Flanderwell area of Rotherham was broken into.
A BMW and bank cards were taken from the address, with the bank cards later reportedly used at various petrol stations and shops.
Later that morning, attempts were also made to take registration plates from a bus in Doncaster.
Hoyland, Layton and Crosby were remanded into custody to appear at court.
