Three deliberate fires overnight

FIREFIGHTERS dealt with deliberate fires involving a Land Rover, wheelie bin and fencing overnight (Tuesday).

Rotherham station attended the vehicle fire on Durham Way at Parkgate at 12.45am.

Colleagues from Dearne station were called to Willow Drive in Mexborough, where a bin was set alight at about 11pm.

They also put out a blaze involving rubbish and a fence panel on Frederick Street in Wombwell at about 12.30am.
