Three crews tackle fire in derelict Wombwell building

RUBBISH was deliberately set alight in a derelict building in Wombwell last night (Wednesday).

Firefighters from Tankersley, Barnsley and Cudworth were called to High Street at 9.45pm and tackled the deliberate blaze until 10.10pm, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
