Three crews called to Mexborough house fire
A FIRE which broke out in the cellar of a house in Mexborough last night (Thursday) was started accidentally.
Fire crews from Dearne, Edlington and Rotherham stations were called to a terraced house on Don View Road at 9.15pm.
"The fire was in the cellar and is believed to have started accidentally," said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
Crews left the scene by 11pm.
