Three arrested after woman (24) killed in collision

THREE men have been arrested after a 24-year-old woman was killed in a collision.

The woman, a passenger in a grey MG ZS, died following the incident on Kimberworth Road on Thursday.

The vehicle was involved in a collision with two parked vehicles near to the junction with Psalters Lane, at around 2.30am.

A 22-year-old man was also seriously injured.

Two 22-year-old men and a 19-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and have now been released under investigation. 

Police want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time.
