Three arrested after 14-year-old girl goes missing

TWO teenagers and another man were arrested on suspicion of child abduction after a 14 year-old girl reportedly went missing — while another man was charged in relation to a separate alleged abduction incident.

Police were called at 9.50pm on Thursday (June 18) following reports a 14-year-old girl had gone missing from her home in Eastwood.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “She was later found at a property in the Wellgate area and taken to a place of safety, with a Public Protection Order put in place.”
