STAND-IN skipper Ben Prescott played a heroic role against Plymouth and then said: “Our season starts here.”
The Scottish prop put in a terrific shift—as did all the pack—to tear Albion apart at times and was left nursing a swollen eyebrow, bloodshot eye and bloodied nose.
But he was delighted with the way Titans played.
“After the previous week against Coventry, the season starts now for us,” said Prescott.
“If we play like we did against Plymouth we’ve got a very good chance at Bristol this weekend, especially considering the result they had against Birmingham (Bristol won 40-36).
“We know that The Championship will be much tougher this year than it was last.
“But after our performance on Sunday, there’s no reason why we can’t go on and beat a few teams this season. We’ve got a good team going now."
