Third man held in Justin Hague murder probe

POLICE investigating the death of Justin Hague have arrested a third man on suspicion of murder.

The 36-year-old Brinsworth man has become the sixth person to be detained after Saturday’s stabbing.

Police were called to Godric Drive but found Mr Hague, a father, with several stab wounds on near-by Godric Green. He died later at Rotherham General Hospital.

Det Chf Insp Matt Fenwick, who is leading the investigation, said: “We believe that this was a targeted incident so members of the general public are not at risk in any way.”

Five others are still being questioned by officers after magistrates granted extra time.
Two of these—in their 20s—are held on suspicion of murder while the other three are on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
