A MOTORCYCLIST is offering a £500 reward after thieves smashed their way into a container and stole his beloved motorbike.

Mark Ogley said his Kawasaki KR1S sports bike was stolen from a locked container at Maltby Auto Electrical Services, in Hope Street, Masbrough, at around 12.15am on Christmas Day.

“We came into work on Wednesday and it had gone,” he said.

“I’ve had the bike for 26 years and I am happy to offer a reward of up to £500 for information that gets it back to me.”

Mark (43) said he had “no idea” who might have stolen the bike, which he valued at around £5,000.

“I haven’t had it on the road for 14 years and nothing else was taken,” he said.

Anyone with any information should call police on 101.
