Tesco theft suspect charged over attacks on six police officers
A SUSPECTED shoplifter has been charged with assaulting six police officers during an incident at Rotherham’s town centre Tesco.
Jake Thomas Mann (24) was bailed after appearing before magistrates in Sheffield on Friday (27).
Mann, of Romney Close in Flanderwell, is charged with six counts of assault and theft. He was bailed to appear at the same court next Thursday.
Police were called to Tesco on Drummond Street on July 22 after reports of a man stealing alcohol.
