Tent death man's funeral

The body of Billy Gyte was found in a field off Wath Road, Mexborough, on May 2.

An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned last week and investigations into how he died are currently underway.

Police have reassured the public that there were “no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.”

Billy’s funeral will take place at St John’s Parish Church, Mexborough, at 11am.

Tributes have continued to flood onto the remembrance site “Rip Billy Gyte—You Will Never Be Forgotten” which was set up on the Facebook social networking web-site.

More than 550 people have now joined the site which features messages of remembrance and samples of Billy’s favourite music.
