Tennis courts turned into car park - during Wimbledon!
ANYONE for parking? The tennis facilities near Clifton Park Museum have been turned into a car park — with the court lines still visible.
Fencing and nets have been removed and the new spaces were painted over the top of the sport markings
Rotherham Borough Council has promised five new floodlit courts on the old bowling greens — but these replacements will not be ready until next summer.
Users of the old courts have been told to play at other centres around the borough until then.
