Ten Christmas Day babies in Rotherham

The ten bundles of joy — six girls and four boys — arrived on the big day at Rotherham Maternity Services.

A spokesperson said: “In total, we had ten babies born on Christmas Day this year which is much more than we would normally expect.

“Thank you to everyone who kept our maternity service safe on Christmas Day and every day of the year.”

The hospital released a group photo of some of the little angels — many of whom were rocking Christmas hats.
