Teenagers accused of murdering Swinton man Lewis Williams appear in court
A 17-year-old and a 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court yesterday (Monday) accused of the murder of Lewis Williams.
Lewis died after being shot on Wath Road last Monday afternoon.

Hide AdBoth teenagers are charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and criminal damage.
The 16-year-old is also charged with assault.
Neither of the boys have entered pleas to the charges.
A trial, which will last three weeks, is scheduled to start on September 6.
The boys have been remanded into custody and are next due to appear at court on February 1.
A 32-year-old man from Doncaster and a 22-year-old man from Rotherham will remain on police bail while enquiries continue, South Yorkshire Police said yesterday.

Hide AdTwo other men, both aged 20, also remain on bail as part of the investigation, said a police spokeswoman.
A file on Lewis’ death has been passed to Doncaster Coroner’s Court but no date has been set for a hearing, a spokesperson for the court said.
