Teenager 'serious' after roof plunge

The 15-year-old was playing with three other boys near the Bellows Parade Shopping Centre in Rawmarsh.

A police spokeswoman said officers and paramedics attended at about 4.10pm on Saturday.

She added: “The youth, from the local area, was unconscious on the roof.

“He was taken to Sheffield Children’s Hospital with head injuries, where he apparently remains in a serious but stable condition.”

Witnesses reported seeing several youths playing in the area, with one climbing around the car park.
