Teenager held in attack probe

POLICE have confirmed that a 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with an alleged assault which left another man with serious head injuries.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that officers were called to a disturbance outside Domino’s Pizza, on Bawtry Road, Bramley, at around 11.10pm last night.

She added: “It appears that a 28-year-old man from the local area has been assaulted and he was taken to hospital with head injuries.

“A 16-year-old male from the local area has been arrested in connection to the incident.” Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.
