Teenage boy ‘slashed’ in Rawmarsh — do you have any information?

A TEENAGER was reportedly slashed across the face after being assaulted by a gang in Rawmarsh.

Police received a report that a teenage boy had been assaulted by three other teenagers in the Rawmarsh Hill area at around 3.40pm on Friday (15).

“It was reported that the offenders, along with the victim, headed towards the Dale Road area of Parkgate,” said a spokeswoman.

“The victim was reported to have received a slash wound to his cheek.

“Officers attended the area but were unable to locate the injured boy or the offenders.

“We have been unable to contact the person who made the report.”

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 566 of February 15.
