Teen remanded in custody over Leonne Weeks murder

A TEENAGER has appeared in court accused of murdering 16-year-old Leonne Weeks whose body was found on a footpath.

Shea Peter Heeley (18), of Doe Quarry Lane, Dinnington, appeared via video link at Sheffield Crown Court this afternoon (Friday).

He spoke only to confirm his name and address during brief hearing.

Heeley was remanded in custody until his next appearance on Tuesday, June 6.

Leonne’s body was found on a pathway just off Lordens Hill, Dinnington, on Monday, January 16.
