RYAN Taylor expects to be back in Rotherham United’s reckoning for Saturday’s toughie at Bury.
Taylor, out since the start of the season, was shocked to get a late, late call up for Tuesday’s 0-0 draw with Bradford after Marcus Marshall tweaked a hamstring in the warm-up.
That meant a quickfire call to get stripped and ready and he came on with a quarter of an hour left.
He said: “Hopefully I`ll play some part in the game on Saturday. Tom Pope has done well since he got back in but I`m up for it and hopefully I`ll play some part in the game on Saturday.”
Providing there was no adverse reaction from a stint in last night’s reserve game, Taylor might get another bench call at Gigg Lane.
