Suspended sentence for making indecent image

A MAN has been handed a suspended prison sentence and ordered to carry out unpaid work after admitting an indecent images charge.

Alex Bate (38), of Sparrow Hawk Way, Wath, admitted making an indecent image of a child when he appeared before magistrates in Doncaster on Monday.

The charges relate to a category A image — the most extreme level — taken in Doncaster in 2019.
