Suspect arrested over anti-social graffiti

A MAN believed to be responsible for “tagging” a string of locations with unsightly graffiti has been arrested by police.

The 29-year-old has been interviewed and released under investigation.

It follows a bus shelter, ad boards and even a canal lock gate being vandalised with the tag “Kingza”.

Police Community Support Officer Paul Newman said: “This unsightly "tag" has been applied to buildings and "street furniture" around the central area our enquiries are ongoing.”

Anyone with information about problem graffiti should call police on 101.
