Super surgery ready for patients

The Stone Castle Centre, on Gardens Lane, will house Conisbrough Medical Practice and Conisbrough Group Practice, as well as a number of health professionals. 

It is the eighth new health centre to be built in the last five years though an NHS initiative that has brought together public and private sector organisations.

Roger Greenwood, chairman of NHS Doncaster and David Liggins, chairman of Doncaster Community Solutions—the company responsible for designing, building and maintaining the building for the next 25 years—unveiled a plaque to declare it officially open.
