A SUBSTANTIAL amount of money was taken from a cash machine at the Co-op in Laughton Common, police said.
The store, on the corner of Outgang Lane and Rotherham Road, was targeted at 3.45am today (Wednesday).
A police spokesman said: “It is believed men dressed in dark clothing, driving a dark BMW removed an ATM from the store and made off with a substantial amount of cash.”
Forensic and CCTV examinations were ongoing, the spokesman added.
