Strike hits Dearne Valley buses

BUS drivers at Stagecoach's depot in Rawmarsh are on strike today in a row over pay, with further walkouts planned for the next two Mondays.

The action means a reduced service in the north Rotherham Dearne Valley area.

Drivers at the Stagecoach depot in Barnsley who were also due to go on strike suspended the first day of industrial action after talks with management.

Further strikes involving Rawmarsh and Barnsley staff have been pencilled in for Monday November 30 and Monday December 7.
