Street food outlet's half-price "thank you" deal for NHS staff

NHS staff can tuck in to half-price food at a new street-style vendor on its opening night tomorrow - as a thank you for their hard work.

Amna Rafiq said her family wanted to offer NHS staff a 50 per cent discount at the opening of Indian and Pakistani food outlet Matki Chai on Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood, between 7pm and 11pm tomorrow (Friday). 

She added: “We wanted to say a big thank you to all of our NHS staff for the amazing work they are doing throughout Covid-19 with a special discount on our opening night - all they have to do is present their NHS card.”

Ms Rafiq said their biggest drive in choosing Eastwood was to enable them to use food to bring the community together.
